Offering Autism, ADHD, Psychoeducational and Psychological Evaluations for Children & Adults in Miami
An ADHD evaluation is recommended when a patient exhibits persistent patterns of inattention, hyperactivity, and/or impulsivity that interfere with daily functioning across multiple settings, such as school, home, work or in social settings.
An autism evaluation is recommended when a patient demonstrates ongoing difficulties with social communication and interaction, along with restricted or repetitive patterns of behavior, interests, or activities.
A Comprehensive Diagnostic Evaluation (CDE) is conducted to assess a patient’s overall functioning and to develop an individualized treatment plan. These evaluations often support recommendations for appropriate interventions, such as Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy.
Gifted evaluations are recommended when a child demonstrates advanced learning abilities. These assessments help determine whether the child would benefit from a more challenging academic program, such as placement in a gifted program.
An intellectual disability evaluation is recommended when there are concerns about a patient’s cognitive functioning and adaptive skills. These evaluations identify the level of support needed to promote success at home, school, work, and in the community.
A psychological evaluation is recommended when a patient presents with emotional, behavioral, or other psychological concerns that may affect daily functioning. These may include symptoms related to anxiety, depression, mood instability, behavioral outbursts, defiance, substance use, eating-related difficulties, obsessive-compulsive behaviors, trauma-related distress, impulse control challenges, hallucinations, delusions, and/or sleep disturbances.
A psychoeducational evaluation is recommended when a patient is experiencing ongoing academic challenges or difficulties with learning. These evaluations can identify Reading Disorder (Dyslexia), Math Disorder (Dyscalculia), and Written Expression Disorder (Dysgraphia) to guide interventions, accommodations, and educational planning.
A PTSD evaluation is recommended when a patient has experienced a traumatic event and is exhibiting symptoms such as intrusive memories, flashbacks, nightmares, avoidance behaviors, hyperarousal, or significant distress that interferes with daily functioning.
LSAT, GRE, MCAT & SAT Testing Accommodations Evaluation is recommended when a student experiences difficulties with standardized tests due to underlying conditions such as anxiety, panic disorder, depression, OCD, ADHD, or learning disorders. These evaluations help identify barriers to performance and determine whether you may qualify for official testing accommodations
